摘要: | 台灣資通訊產業跟隨WINTEL(Window and Intel)及摩爾定律(Moore's law)蓬勃發展好幾十年,由主從式Mainframe主機、個人電腦PC、手機、雲端網路、無論是BTC或BTB產業每個階段都展現了台灣企業快速反應的彈性和靭性,也造就了各別領域許多引以為傲世界級公司,例如:晶圓代工、晶圓測試、IC晶圓設計、面板、PCB、主機板、PC/Notebook/Server代工等。然而隨著摩爾定律逼近物理極限,CPU運算速度已經無法指數型成長,而由GPU+深度學習Deep Learning所延伸後摩爾定律正在引領【AI人工智慧+IOT物聯網=AIOT智慧物聯工業】已開始改變產業結構發展,智慧物聯工業所帶來巨大影響甚至被喻為第四次工業革命。
工業電腦很多應用是受惠於智慧物聯工業,包含智慧城市、雲端運算、工業生產自動化與機器人等,所以工業電腦可算是全球發展智慧物聯工業重要的軍火商,故本論文主要研究工業電腦及相關產業,該如何結合人工智慧及區塊鏈數位科技創新,成功轉型跟上智慧物聯工業發展列車,其中許多應用包含智慧監控、智慧交通、智慧零售、智慧醫療、智慧工廠等,案例研究對象台灣宜鼎國際Innodisk為主,另外美國奇異公司GE及台灣研華科技Advantech也在產業分析研究案例之中。 本論文應用學理方式探討Penrose(1959), Warnerfelt(1984), Prahalad 及Hamel(1990)的資源基礎理論輔以宜鼎國際個案研究剖析企業如何藉由Organic Growth,New Business Growth 及Alliance合作聯盟,集中企業資源延伸核心競爭力及切入智慧物聯工業,搭配分析價值創新之商業模式Business Model Canvas及人工智慧加上區塊鏈所帶來的破壞性創新(Christensen, 2003)模式,希望本研究所歸納推導出發展方向或策略,有助於工業電腦或相似利基性企業作為智慧物聯工業重要參考佈局。 The development of Taiwan ICT (Information and Communication Technology) followed by Moore's Law and Wintel for decades. From the mainframe, personal computer, mobile device, cloud and networking, no matter BTC or BTB company all show the flexibility of Taiwan Capability at every stage, which has created many world-class companies in various fields, such as Foundry, Wafer Testing, IC Design, Panels, Printed Circuit Boards, Motherboards and Electronics Manufacturing Service. However, GPUs have taken the mantle from CPUs due to the physical limit of foundry, the world of computing is experiencing an incredible change with the introduction of AI and Deep Learning, which will bring great influence and can be referred to as the 4th industrial revolution. The structure of IOT is moving to AIOT when the innovation is powered by artificial intelligent, such as Smart Surveillance, Smart Transortation, Smart Medical, Smart Retial and Smart Factory. Therefore, this paper mainly studies how the IPC and related enterprise to penetrate the AIOT market because most of them related to the fundamental infrastructure of AIOT; This thesis is also included three case study from General Electric, Advantech and Inndoisk Corporation. This thesis applies the resource-based theory from Penrose(1959), Warnerfelt(1984), Prahalad and Hamel(1990) to analyze how Innodisk focus on Enterprise resource to develop core competence and penetrate AIOT market, as well as the Christensen(2003) Disruption Innovation caused by Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. I hope that this research will be a good reference for IPC or similar enterprises when facing the challenge of AIOT, Smart Future ! |
