This study aims to examine the developmental context of these challenges, which are inherently intertwined with the structure of Taiwan's TV drama industry. Departing from a perspective grounded in creative cultural labor, this in-depth report analyzes the work of screenwriters in Taiwan's TV drama industry, investigating the power dynamics and resource allocation among various stakeholders from a structural standpoint. The article adopts a framework centered on the primary interview subjects: content producers—specifically, screenwriters—in the production of Taiwan's TV dramas. Their life stories serve as the narrative focal point, capturing the difficulties they encounter at different stages and shaping their psychological and career transformations, as well as their strategies for navigating these challenges. Simultaneously, through their experiences, the study provides insights into the historical evolution of Taiwan's TV drama industry, supplemented by relevant support resources, with the aim of offering valuable reference points for future aspiring screenwriters entering the field. |
