| Abstract: | n/a Arix CNC Machine Co. Ltd is a Taiwanese enterprise facing factors while entering the Thailand market for selling the clear aligner in 2019. Moreover, the advent of Covid 19 has negatively affected all industries due to a lockdown measure, but Arix CNC can perform well by adopting the remote treatment. Thus, Arix CNC is a good case of Thailand's learning opportunities and challenges of Taiwanese teleorthodontics. This case study is conducted by using the qualitative method with convenience sampling. The primary data come from observation and In-dept interviews, and the second data is studied from works of literature. This thesis uses PEST analysis, Five Force, and SWOT as analysis tools. Arix CNC sells milled clear aligners by using the semi-telemedicine under the InnoVa brand. It uses the commutative know-how to develop the product. In the first period, the sale is idle due to poor brand awareness. However, the Taiwan Excellence award can help it survive in the Thailand market. For the incoming Taiwanese firms, Thailand is charming due to its future economic growth and networking of Taiwanese companies and institutes. Taiwanese medical device producers also take benefit from policies from both the Thai and Taiwanese governments. Taiwanese products are perceived as high-quality, innovative products by Thai people. On the other hand, the different language is a vital barrier. For medical devices, firms should study more about the law and create a brand image. Thailand also welcomes telemedical from existing service as Clear Aligner, digital infrastructure, Thai netizens, and guideline regulation. The thesis was conducted based on only Arix CNC, which cannot guarantee the whole situation of the Thailand market and the telemedicine industries. |
