從雲端市場的發展來看傳統資料中心的競爭策略 —以資料中心A公司為例

Abstract

本研究以A公司作為研究對象，以本論文作者多年來在該產業的專業和觀察，完整闡述傳統資料中心現今所面臨到的問題樣貌。藉由價值鏈、五力分析、PEST和SWOT的方式，嘗試透過一個完整且有邏輯性的分析模型，將A公司作為本研究模型實證的案例。企業在這個資訊科技變動飛快的時代裡，應隨時關注所處環境的變動，若企業經營者能即時反應這些變動所帶來的影響，並即時思考新的定位以及是否該改變原有的經營模式，找出新的藍海與競爭策略，將可避免企業因無法因應時代的轉變而帶來的衰退。 此外，也希望透過A公司個案的研究，能讓目前仍處在轉型十字街口的傳統資料中心業者，能重新思考自身所處的產業狀況以及企業本身的優劣勢，為公司轉型之路儘早確立方向。

In this study, the author takes company A as an example to illustrate the modern challenges of the traditional datacenters thoroughly, with many years of professional experience and observation in the industry. By taking company A as an empirical study case and using methodology of Value Chain, Five Force, PEST and SWOT, a complete and logical analytical model is built up. In an era of rapid change of information technology, enterprises should always concern about changes in environment. If business executives can response to the impact of these changes immediately, rethink directions and review original business models, the enterprises will be able to find their own “Blue Ocean“ and to develop their new competitive strategies to avoid business decline which results from inability to respond to these changes. In addition, this study will also give a clue to traditional datacenter companies who are still at strategy transition stages. It helps them rethink their own strengths and weakness, and the industry environment to establish the new direction for transformation as soon as possible.
