(First-Mover Advantage)。 This business plan thesis presents a strategically significant business venture for the Market Entry Strategy for a Monitor Arm Trade-In & Recycling Service in the U.S.. This initiative was designed to address the critical global challenge of electronic waste, particularly focusing on monitor arms, while simultaneously creating meaningful economic value and enhancing corporate sustainability efforts. The fundamental core of this business is to systematically collect, refurbish, and recycle monitor arms while also providing valuable ESG data focusing on reducing Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions through measurable methods. The approach avoids the energy-intensive production of new materials, especially for components using aluminum and steel. The refurbishment and recycling paths offer high energy savings when monitor arms are strategically diverted from the landfill. As there is a growing demand from both businesses and consumers for products and services that are environmentally friendly, the business venture follows the trend of today’s market needs. The geopolitical tension between the U.S. and China with high tariff’s also presents an opportunity to offer U.S. customers an alternative solution for a cheaper alternative compared with buying new. The joint venture equity model is built for efficiency and simplicity. It systematically integrates existing reverse logistic networks and e-commerce platforms. Most importantly, the current market lacks a direct, specialized competitor in this niche, giving the business venture a valuable first-mover advantage. |
