This study aims to explore the trends of zoos in the changing times, with special attention to the impact of ESG and digital transformation on zoos. Zoos are no longer just places of entertainment, but also places that provide environmental conservation and education. Their environment, society and management, and animal welfare are increasingly valued.
This study will use a case analysis of L Zoo to explore the practical application and impact of the zoo's ESG policy and digital transformation from the three aspects of Environment, Social and Government, and promote the meaning and practical operation of animal conservation. At the same time, it will be discussed how zoos can respond to the challenges they may face in the future in the era of technological innovation and social progress. Zoos provide animal viewing, can also create ESG and social values, combine environmental conservation with business, achieve sustainable development and have educational significance, and propose corresponding strategies.
Based on the above, this study will fill the gap in existing zoo-related research, actually delve into the impact of ESG and digital transformation on zoos, and provide suggestions to lead zoos to operate and develop more efficiently in modern society.
