Supply-Chain Finance has provided tremendous support for the financing and development of private small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); however, the promotion process has been bogged down by various problems. This paper mainly employs the literature analysis method and case study method to analyze in depth the development of Supply-Chain Finance, the main problems, the financing model, and the existing cases, and to clarify the development status of Supply-Chain Finance. On this basis, this paper focuses on XX International Holdings Company, an example SME in the paper industry, to thoroughly explore the pain points and difficulties of planning and implementing Supply-Chain Finance for the company. The aim is to optimize the design of the current Supply-Chain Finance scheme. This paper argues that the optimization means of supply chain finance platform have the following three main aspects: (1) expanding the pool of entities willing to provide external credit financing beyond traditional banks, including but not limited to industrial leading enterprises, industry leading distributors, large state-owned enterprises, etc.; (2) Strengthening the review and optimization of the existing process of Supply-Chain Finance, and establishing mechanisms for data collection, data analysis, data monitoring and privacy protection, thereby reducing the business risks of Supply-Chain Finance; (3) improving relevant laws and regulations to protect the rights and interests of all involved parties in the Supply-Chain Finance. |
