Abstract: | 矽智財產業(Silicon Intellectual Property: SIP)為半導體產業之最上游,透過經過事先驗證之設計功能模組來降低設計工作量、縮短晶片設計週期、提高晶片設計成功率是產業趨勢,如何在歐美廠商佔有優勢的矽智財產業中佔有一席之地,是台灣在半導體成功的晶片製造業外的另一個課題.
本研究以個案公司力旺電子為例,透過產業資料與文獻資料蒐集、整理、歸納、分析與高階經理人訪談,就半導體產業概況、全球矽智財產業與競爭概況、台灣矽智財產業、嵌入式非揮發性記憶體產業與競爭環境、對個案公司所處的產業環境做一個完整的分析.最後透過對個案公司的發展歷程、核心產品與技術、商業模式與營運狀況、與台灣IP同業營收與營運績效比較、競爭者的分析歸納出個案公司的關鍵成功因子以作為其他半導體廠商策略規劃和未來發展方向參考.最後對個案公司的未來發展方向提供建議. Silicon Intellectual Property (SIP) plays a critical role as the upstream component in the semiconductor industry. The industry trend is to reduce design workload, shorten chip design cycles, and improve chip design success rates through the utilization of pre-validated design functional modules. Establishing a position in the Silicon Intellectual Property industry, which is dominated by European and American companies, poses a significant challenge for Taiwan, apart from its successful semiconductor chip manufacturing. This study primarily focuses on the case of eMemory Technology and utilizes industry data, literature review, data collection, organization, summarization, analysis, and interviews with senior managers to provide a comprehensive analysis of the semiconductor industry overview, global Silicon Intellectual Property industry and competitive landscape, Taiwan's Silicon Intellectual Property industry, embedded non-volatile memory industry, and competitive environment, within which the case company operates. Finally, through an examination of the case company's development history, core products and technologies, business model and operational status, as well as a comparison of revenue and operational performance with Taiwan's IP industry peers, and an analysis of competitors, key success factors for the case company are identified. These factors can serve as references for strategic planning and future development directions for other semiconductor company. Recommendations are also provided for the case company's future development direction. |
