解構西方中心主義論述—以老莊思想作為方法

Abstract

受到西方中心主義影響，許多異於主流視角的觀點遭到壓制，由此衍生出了許多對於西方中心主義的批判論述。然而，綜觀這些批判論述，像是西方知識圈內的批判，以及以儒家思想為核心的批判等等，本文認為其多數達不到批判的效果，反而進一步鞏固了西方中心主義。本文認為，藉由老子與莊子的思想內容，可以以其為方法，進一步解構西方中心主義，並在這個過程中，開展更多的對話，找到一種最佳的批判論述。最後，本文也認為這樣的批判論述，可以作為一套方法，藉由「以圓取代一」的實踐，超越帶有西方中心主義式思考的理論。

Under the influence of Western centrism, many perspectives that differ from the mainstream have been suppressed, resulting in many critical discourses on Western centrism. However, examining these critical discourses, such as critiques from Western intellectual circles or those rooted in Confucianism, this thesis argues that most of them fail to achieve the critical effect but instead further reinforce Western centrism. This thesis suggests that by using the philosophical ideas of Laozi and Zhuangzi as a method, Western centrism can be deconstructed, and more dialogues can be initiated in the process to find a better strategy for criticism. Finally, this thesis argues that such a critical strategy can provide a foundation for constructing critical theories and can surpass theoretical thinking of Western-centrism through the practice of "replacing the one with the circle."
