Abstract: 在間歇性系統中,如何有效率且正確的執行週邊設備是一個很重要的問題。本篇論文點出此種系統在並行執行I/O程序所會產生的冗余的備份、重新初始化I/O的問題,並提出一套能源分配架構,與基於動態規劃的分配法則,達到週邊設備效能的最大化。本篇論文將設計執行在基於MSP430系列微型處理器上的感測裝置上,並安裝了溫度感測器與低功耗藍牙接受器,根據我們的測量,本篇論文的方法相較於原始的I/O執行方式,獲得50.4%完成工作的提升。
Self-powered intermittent systems waste considerable I/O energy because volatile I/O modules repeated issue the backup and re-initialization procedure, and also due to the use of the concurrent-fashion of I/O executions. This paper presents a centralized system design to solve this problem. We employ a new system module called Energy Allocator to manage the I/O operations. To maximize the forward progress of I/O operations, we also purposed an energy allocation policy based on our system design. To evaluate the efficacy of our design, we implement our design and conduct experiment on a MSP430-based sensor device, with temperature sensor and BLE chip. Results show that our design can achieve 50.4\% of improvement on forward progress.
