Abstract: | 本論文研究光纖無線通信(radio-over-fiber, RoF)系統中扮演光電轉換與信號無線傳送之發射器。此發射器利用近彈道單載子光檢測器(near-ballistic uni-traveling-carrier photodiode, NBUTC-PD)與被動電路結合,實現高寬頻效能的光電轉換與混頻調變,達到超高速無線傳輸。此發射器可有效提升RoF系統的資料傳輸速率。研發成果包含系統的被動電路與天線饋入設計分析與驗證。包括被動電路中之射頻扼流器(RF-choke)、J頻帶帶通濾波器(J-band band-pass filter)及電場探針式導波管(waveguide)饋入,並分析被動電路和饋入結構與主動元件近彈道單載子光檢測器結合後之系統響應,分析結果將經由實作驗證。 This thesis aims for the front-end design of an J-band integrated optical-to-electrical transmitter exploited for high-speed radio-over-fiber ( RoF ) applications. The front-end comprises a RF choke, a J-band bandpass filter, and a E-probe based waveguide excitation structure. The developed front-end is integrated with the near-ballistic uni-traveling-carrier photodiode ( NBUTC-PD ) for the realization of the transmitter. The developed transmitter is characterized with its corresponding equivalent circuit model. The simulated results will be verified with the measurement results. The developed optical-to-electrical transmitter is expected to find applications in short-range multi-gigabit wireless communication. |
