Abstract: 本研究係以逆向工程為基礎概念,應用於人臉雕塑系統為目的。逆向工程在CAD / CAM的使用主要對已存在的真實物件進行尺寸量測,於電腦建立虛擬的三維模型,經過重新設計後再製造出來。本研究將此概念應用於人臉雕塑系統,先以Kinect掃描真實人臉建立出電腦模型,再讓使用者以網格變形的方式修改幾何外觀,最後利用大型CNC五軸加工機進行雕塑,建立等比例的人臉實體模型。
研究中主要基於人臉的幾何外形,將人臉建模、人臉變形和CNC加工機的刀具切削路徑規劃整合成一套程式,發展出針對人臉的雕塑系統,整個程序連續且自動化,使用者可以快速雕塑自己的人臉模型。
The purpose of this study is to develop a reverse engineering system and apply it to the face machining. The reverse engineering process in CAD/CAM system involves measuring an existing physical object, reconstructing it as a 3D model, redesigning the model and manufacturing it. We use this process to the face machining.
First, the user uses a RGB-D camera called Kinect to scan a real human face and gets a complete 3D face model. Second, they can redesign the face model by free-form deformation method. Finally, the system will generate the tool-path data for 5-axis machine tool based on NC code format automatically.
