Abstract: | 隨著台灣製造業代工模式逐漸發展成熟,各廠商漸漸開始思考下一階段的發展方向,因此製造業產業結構調整的議題漸漸受到重視。為促使產業全方位創新發展,經濟部也提出產業優化策略,其中最重要的議題就是製造服務化的概念,期望製造業者可由產品導向的製造模式轉為顧客服務導向。這概念最早於1988年被提出,強調以顧客為主的概念來結合產品、服務支援等元素,以涵蓋製造業及服務業兩種不同領域,並隨著產業特性、技術、策略等等的不同,產生服務化方式的差異,而過去文獻大多偏向驅動力與所面臨的挑戰等議題的研究,較缺乏探討公司能力與可採行服務化之模式間關聯性的探討,且針對特殊產業環境的討論也很少見。
因此,本研究嘗試以工業電腦產業為外部環境,試圖建立以企業具備的能力作為選擇製造服務化模式的影響因素,其中包含四種製造服務化模式:產品客製化、產品延伸性服務、產品功能性服務及整合解決方案,同時納入採行各種製造服務化模式所需搭配的組織調適內容做為整體架構,希望透過個案研究的方式,探討個案公司目前採行製造服務化策略時所採行的模式、組織調適的狀況及相關的管理意涵。 透過個案公司轉型製造服務化的策略導入架構分析,結果發現,個案公司在發展製造服務化時,其組織發展雖然大體完整,但由於其目前所具備的能力有限,導致其可採行的製造服務化模式介於產品客製化與產品延伸性服務之間。本研究最後根據個案公司現況,提出短期與長期的建議,短期下建議公司需將系統整合能力發展完全,才能完整提供產品延伸性服務;長期則需要加強賣方融資與企業顧問能力,並且組織也要經過一些調整,才有辦法走向整合解決方案。 As OEM gradually matured in Taiwan, manufacturers started to think about the development of next stage. Therefore, the issue about industrial restructuring is getting more attention gradually. For the purpose of promoting innovation and development in manufacturing firms, the Ministry of Economic Affairs also proposed the strategy of industrial optimization. The most important issue of the strategy was the concept of servitization. The government expected manufacturing firms to transform their business from product-oriented to service-oriented. The concept of servitization raised by Vandermerwe and Rada, is now widely recognized as the emphasis on customer-focus rather than on product-focus by integrating products with services. It covers two different domains: manufacturing and services. To accommodate practices with techniques and strategies of industrials, there exists different ways to do servitization. Most of the previous literatures focused the research on the drivers of servitization and the challenges facing of servitization. It lacked for the investigation on the link between the capabilities of the company and the adoption of modes of servitization. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to develop a model of investigation on the relevance between the capabilities of the company and the adoption of modes of servitization. For a ICT industry, four types of servitization are considered, including product customization, product extension service, product function service, and integrated solution. Simultaneously, this study also incorporates the reorganization issues when each type of servitization model is implemented. By adopting case study approach, this paper identifies the type of servitization the company adopted, the ways of reorganization and future improvements. By putting the case into the analytic framework, we find that the company has a well-developed organization. Because of its limited capability, the type of servitization the company adopted is somewhere between product customization and product extension service. According to current status of the company, the study proposed short and long-term recommendations. In short-term, if the company wants to provide complete product extension services, it needs to develop complete systems integration capabilities. In long-term, if the company wants to forward to provide integrated solution, it needs to develop the capabilities of vendor financing and business consultancy. |
