Abstract: | 高速切削(High Speed Machining;HSM)是一種以高主軸轉速、快速進給、較小的切削深度為加工特徵的加工方式;其相關的技術發展至目前為止,對於軟、硬體方面已達實用階段,但製造業者在引進高速切削的相關設備時,在軟體及加工規劃方面往往被忽略,部分業者甚至以傳統的加工觀念來配合高速切削加工機,以致無法發揮應有的功能與效率。
本文以電腦輔助製造(Computer-Aided Manufacturing;CAM)系統為主,介紹三軸高速切削功能,並利用軟體模擬及實際切削的方式來探討其規劃的刀具路徑對加工的影響,藉此深入瞭解高速切削功能的實用性。 High Speed Machining (HSM) is the process that has three charac- teristics: high spindle speed, shallow depth of cut and high speed feed- rate. The related technical development to be integrated requires both the software and hardware applied in manufacturing environments. However, in some cases when HSM equipments are introduced, the proprietors still neglect the important role of the software and the necessity to modify the process planning, and the powerful equipment is operated in more or less the traditional manner. The thesis focuses on the introduction of the 3-axis HSM functions appearing in commercial Computer Aided Manufacture (CAM) packages. Practicabilities of the HSM functions are observed through the software simulation. Experiments are also devised to study the influence of key parameters on the cutting process. |
