dc.description.abstract | 根據chola這個以原住民婦女形象為基礎的意象,我嘗試透過不同群體在日常生活、公眾領域及特定節慶事件中對此意象的使用,重新檢視玻利維亞高地的再現政治與人群關係。有別於以族群整體為單位的研究,以chola為主題有助於我們發掘族群內部的歧異認同、跨群體之間的族群政治以及此地原住民女性個人獨特的生命經驗。
本論文的材料來自於2004年至2005年之間為期半年的田野調查。在玻利維亞西部高地以Aymara人為主的La Paz行政區裡,我通過參與鄉村原住民婦女的日常活動而累積了有關女性個人生命經驗的觀察;同時,我也注意到當地社會裡不同的個人與群體,通過建構、操作與詮釋chola這個以原住民女性形象為基礎的意象,而界定出自己的相對位置。 要理解chola意象之建構背後所指涉的再現政治,首先必須回到此概念所形成的歷史脈絡,以理解其背後所蘊含的種種假設與其所連結的權力關係。其次,也必須認識chola意象建構之表現形式與內容,這有助於釐清原住民女性形象如何穿透社會各個階層,成為眾人皆可操作的意象。以此,亦可檢視不同群體的權力關係與相對位置,如何在這些建構中被強化或挑戰。最後,我希望回到原住民婦女本身的生命經驗:她們如何理解chola這個自身形象的再現,又如何回應日常生活中因此而起的認同問題。 我認為,當代玻利維亞社會各種以原住民婦女形象為基礎的建構以及彼此競爭的詮釋觀點,反映了二十世紀後半重新改組的社會結構與族群關係,並投射於chola這個既存在於日常生活之中,也具有各種象徵意義的原住民婦女形象之上。 | zh_TW |
