dc.description.abstract | 本研究藉觀察台灣藍鵲(Urocissa caerulea)的生殖行為,來探討其合作生殖行為之特性,希望了解藍鵲繁殖生物學之相關訊息。從1997至2004年期間,在陽明山國家公園觀察其生殖行為,結果顯示平均群大小為6.3隻,由一對繁殖者與未繁殖個體組成,保衛一永久領域,範圍約48.2公頃。藍鵲為一夫一妻制,配偶關係長久維持,繁殖制度為合作生殖的巢邊幫手制,97%的群在繁殖時有幫手存在。
每年四月上旬開始產卵,雌性繁殖者負責孵蛋,繁殖季在八月上旬結束。平均窩卵數為6.4顆,孵卵期17-19天,成功孵化率78.3 %;雛鳥22-24日齡可以離巢,繁殖成功率為84.0%,每巢平均離巢幼鳥數是4.2隻。巢失敗主因為盜獵、掠食者捕食與惡劣氣候。有29%群的繁殖者會繁殖第二次,此時由幫手負責照顧第一窩幼鳥,第一次繁殖完成與第二次繁殖開始的時間間隔平均為19.2天。 87%的幫手是雄性,都是繁殖者的近親。雄性子代留在群內一年的機率為62.4%,然後逐年降低;而雌性子代通常第二年初期就擴散,極少數個體會留至兩年。雌子代的擴散距離(2265m)明顯遠於雄子代。雄子代繁殖年齡為3 - 5歲,而雌鳥若有繁殖機會,1歲就可繁殖。 幫手的築巢貢獻低於雄繁殖者,但高於雌繁殖者。雄繁殖者在孵卵階段的餵食貢獻明顯高過幫手。育雛階段,雄繁殖者的餵食貢獻仍是群內所有成員中最高的,但因群內通常有3 - 4隻的幫手,所以,幫手的總餵食貢獻(3.9次/小時)明顯高過雄繁殖者。若群內幫手多,雄繁殖者的餵食率可以降低,且每隻雛鳥的被餵率較高。幫手幫忙築巢、提供食物給雌性繁殖者、雛鳥與離巢幼鳥,並會驅離入侵者與掠食者,其貢獻程度及項目會因性別、年齡而有所差異。 | zh_TW |
