Abstract: | 在本論文中,我們設計並實作了一組符合802.11標準,且包括存取點以及一般工作站所使用的媒體存取控制器。其特色為支援了大部分802.11-2007標準所規定之功能,例如工作站管理、傳輸控制 (包含服務品質的功能) 以及加密功能。
我們並將這組媒體存取控制器與一組實體層處理器、射頻前頻以及寬頻段天線結合,完成一套軟體無線電系統之骨架,並在兩台電腦上經由實際通道驗證此媒體存取控制器的各項功能。經由測試並與過去相關主題論文比較後,得到我們設計並實作之媒體存取控制器具有較完整功能,且可作為一軟體無線電系統重要元件之結論。 In this thesis, we design and implement 802.11 Medium Access Control (MAC) layer controllers for both Access Point (AP) and station side. They feature most functions regulated in 802.11-2007, such as Basic Service Set (BSS) management, transmission control (including Quality of Service (QoS) and Wireless Equivalent Privacy (WEP) function). All of them are verified via Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) boards and real channel. Then we integrate them with a pair of 802.11g physical (PHY) layer processors, antennae and Radio Frequency (RF) frontends to construct a backbone of a Software Defined Radio (SDR) system for future use. The practical transmission ability between both sides via real channel is demonstrated. |
