半導體產業及IC設計服務產業的經營及創新策略研究

Abstract

過去十多年中，半導體公司與IC設計服務公司合久必分，分久必合的緊密關係，讓居於產業中堅分子的管理階層也在亟思新的營運方向調整與營運創新的模式，來面對未來的嚴峻挑戰以及快速改變。 本研究希望對半導體企業在實務上面，如何應用新的創新營運模式有更進一步的想法與探討，並藉由不同分析的工具而拆解不同的發展模式及商業的變化過程以提供台灣半導體業的一個參考借鏡及未來的客戶的參考發展方向。 同時並由分析主要三大半導體代工廠及其麾下的IC設計服務公司的經營及策略來為半導體產業及IC設計服務業未來的價值定位及擬定國際化策略。 論文之結論期盼提供相關產業及主管機關，作為推動半導體全面國際化及競爭力提升的參考。

In the past decades, the closely knitted semiconductor foundry and IC design service house industry have experienced several cycles of unity and division. Thus, the top management of the industry has been pondering new operation direction and business model to tackle the rapid changes and challenges in the future. This research hopes to study further into the innovative business modes by means of adopting different analysis frameworks to validate various new business processes and development models, in order to provide the recommendations to the future development direction for the semiconductor industry in Taiwan. This research studies the strategy of three major semiconductor foundries with their associated IC design service houses to develop the value proposition positioning and internalization strategy. At the end, this study hopes to provide the good references to the semiconductor industry and the government administrative on approaches and policies to enhance the competiveness and internalization of the industry.
