This article takes the Aqua_Med suit of Wear-Lab Company as an example to explore the methods and principles of innovative design of care clothing for dry and itchy skin lesions in the elderly from the perspective of service design theory. Firstly, the background, purpose and significance of the study are introduced through the introduction section. Next, in the Literature Review section, an overview of the current status of research on service design theory, dry itchy skin and nursing apparel design for elderly patients is presented. Next, the research methodology section details the research design, participant selection, and methods of data collection and analysis. The paper then examines the care needs of elderly patients with dry itchy skin lesions. The etiology and developmental mechanisms of dry itchy skin lesions and the special care needs of elderly patients were identified. At the same time, the paper discusses the use of water-based garments in nursing care and concludes that water-based garments can meet the nursing needs of elderly patients with dry and itchy skin lesions. Secondly, the paper focuses on the innovative design of water-based garments and describes the functions and features of water-based garments, including moisturization, comfort and anti-itching design. It also discusses the choice of material for the suit, which is a new fiber material with good antimicrobial and breathable properties. Finally, the manufacturing process of water-based garments is introduced, including design, cutting, and production and sewing. The paper also evaluates the water-research garments through empirical research results and discussions. Firstly, the actual wearing effect of the water garment is evaluated, and the results show that the water garment has good moisturizing and itch-reducing effects. Secondly, through the production of the product and user feedback, the feasibility of the water-based garment in practical application was ensured. Finally, the paper suggests the optimization of water-based garments, including the further improvement of the moisturizing/antimicrobial properties of the material and the style design. Finally, in the Conclusion and Perspectives section, the paper summarizes the findings of the study and points out the potential application of aqua-med in the care of dry and itchy skin lesions in elderly patients. At the same time, the paper also points out the limitations of the study and suggests directions for improvement. Finally, the paper looks at future research directions, including further refinement of the design of the suit and the development of more empirical studies. |
