Abstract: 隨著台灣高鐵延伸計劃的可能性,中間折返站這一新型車站形式,成為了研究的焦點。此類車站結合了中間站與端末折返站的特性,使得容量分析更加複雜。本研究回顧了現有的容量分析方法和指標,並針對高速鐵路的特性,開發了一套適用於高速鐵路系統中間折返站的模擬模型。透過模擬模型,考慮列車在不同進路之間的時隔,精確地分析了中間折返站的容量。此外,針對標準六股對稱股道配置車站和未來台灣高鐵宜蘭延伸計劃中的南港車站進行了深入的案例分析,探討在不同觀點下最合適的股道運用。本研究亦探討了列車折返時間和列車類型比例變化對容量的影響。研究結果不僅深化了對高鐵系統中間折返站之容量分析,也為高鐵系統的規劃提出有效的評估工具。
With the potential expansion of the Taiwan High-Speed Rail (THSR) project, intermediate turn-back stations have become a focal point of research. These stations combine the characteristics of both intermediate and terminal turn-back stations, thereby adding complexity to capacity analysis. This study reviews existing capacity analysis methods and metrics, and develops a simulation model specifically tailored to the characteristics of high-speed rail systems for intermediate turn-back stations. Through the simulation model, the study precisely analyzes the capacity of intermediate turn-back stations by considering the headway among different train paths. Additionally, our study conducts in-depth case studies on a standard six-track symmetrical layout station and the planned Nangang Station in the future THSR extension to Yilan, exploring the most suitable track utilization in various scenarios. The study also examines how variations in train turn-back times and the ratio of train types affect capacity. The results not only enhance understanding of the operational efficiency and capacity management of intermediate turn-back stations but also provide effective evaluation tools for planning and capacity analysis of high-speed rail systems.
