Abstract: 半導體製程技術已從以前的微米(um)級成熟製程成功地進展到目前奈米(nm)級的先進製程。因此,電子產業將發展出更多各式各樣的電子產品於各不同的應用領域會是必然的趨勢,例如消費性電子、智慧型手機、穿戴式電子裝置、電動車或自動駕駛車、AI人工智慧裝置、先進醫療設備與生物醫學…等等。半導體元件從過去的微米尺寸進展到奈米尺寸的元件縮小化之後,靜電放電(Electro-Static Discharge,ESD)可能會對於IC電子元件的損害也高度地被注意。於是,IC設計產業需要有ESD防護設計的研發團隊與廠商來提供對應市場需求的ESD防護元件、ESD IP設計服務與解決方案。
個案A公司是一家台灣的廠商,面對全球IC ESD防護設計產業競爭者的威脅,在全球競爭的產業環境中需要建立自己的競爭策略來因應。
本研究以個案A公司為例,運用波特五力分析(Porter five forces analysis)、SWOT分析、BCG矩陣(BCG Matrix)分析和安索夫矩陣(Ansoff matrix)分析的架構模型,來評估A公司內部的優勢與劣勢,與其外部面臨的市場機會和威脅。分析A公司的市場地位、產品線和競爭環境,提出面對變化市場條件時的策略建議,包括策略規劃,產品創新,市場擴張以及業務多角化等方面的建議,以助其在激烈的產業競爭中能穩固並擴展市場佔有,擬定出A公司在IC ESD防護設計產業的經營與發展策略。
The IC design industry needs R&D teams for ESD protection design and manufacturers to provide ESD protection components, ESD IP design services and solutions that meet market needs. The case of Company A is a Taiwanese manufacturer which faced with the threat of competitors in the global IC ESD protection design industry, and needs to establish its own competitive strategy to cope with the global competitive industry environment.
This study takes the case of Company A as an example and uses the architectural models of “Porter five forces analysis”, “SWOT analysis”, “BCG Matrix analysis” and “Ansoff matrix analysis” to evaluate internal strengths and weaknesses, and external market opportunities and threats. To analyze Company A's market position, product lines and competitive environment, and provide strategic suggestions in the face of changing market conditions, including suggestions on strategic planning, product innovation, market expansion and business diversification. In order to help it stabilize and expand its market share in the fierce industry competition, Company A's corporate strategy in the IC ESD protection design industry was formulated.
