| 摘要: | None This paper will introduce a business plan to start up a school business in Myanmar to train students to be home care nurses and an employment agency business specializing in home care nurses. The definition of home care nurses in Japan is that licensed nurses in Japan visit the homes of patients who are not able to go to hospitals by themselves and serve medical assistance under the direction of doctors. The aim of these businesses is to mitigate the problem in Japan which is the shortage of home care nurses. According to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare in Japan, by 2025, 112,558 home care nursing providers are needed (2019) to take care of the increasing number of elderly people in Japan, on the other hand, the number in 2021 is only 13,554 providers (2022). The decreasing number of home care nurses will affect not only patients but also home care service providers. They are striving to secure more nurses than the required number of nurses to hire; otherwise, a home care nursing company will need to stop its operation. However, the number of those who wish to enroll in nursing schools in Japan decreased, therefore, this business paper determined that the nursing school business should be set up outside of Japan. The location will be in Yangon, the biggest commercial city in Myanmar, and the target students are the young generation in Myanmar who have the N2 level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, the certificate of the nursing care Japanese language evaluation test, or nursing license in Myanmar. At the nursing school, students will learn the contents to pass the national nursing exam in Japan to acquire a nursing license in Japan, and they also will be trained to be home care nurses in Japan. The differentiation of the nursing school compared to its competitors, who are Japanese companies operating elderly carer training schools in Myanmar. To make the business profitable, launching an employment agency business is essential. The business will support medical institutions or home care nursing companies to introduce trained nurses from the nursing school in Yangon. The business will start after three years that the schooling business will start, because the course duration of the nursing school in Yangon is for three years. The five-year income statement projection shows that this business will be in surplus from year 4, which is the first year of the employment agency. |
