摘要: | 本文以宋初邢昺等人修撰的官定義疏《論語正義》作為研究對象,進行專書之研究。目前所見圍繞《論語正義》的研究,多受到宋、清學者在漢、宋之學視角下的論述影響,雖然對其訓釋、思想等方面皆有所探討,然多偏主一端,未能結合其承自唐代正義的疏解特點對整體之經義疏解有完整討論。同時,關於《論語正義》修撰經過、版本流傳及體例等方面,尚需進行一全面之梳理。本文遂圍繞《論語正義》,從以上幾方面入手討論其經義之構建,及其後所反映的經學觀念。
本文藉由結合文獻與經解思想之論述,試圖擺脫傳統觀念下對於《論語正義》之評價的影響,僅就文本入手,還原其修撰之初的學術背景及時人之經學觀念,以對《論語正義》之經解作系統性的考察,就其本身經義之構建論其學術得失,從而彰顯其在《論語》詮釋史上所處的位置與其獨特性。 因此,本文第一章首先對《論語正義》的修撰經過與版本流傳等相關記載與問題進行了梳理與討論。在第二章中,透過本文對體例及文獻徵引特點的論述,可見《論語正義》對義疏體體例的完善。其書通過體例之構建,實現了經解上從概述到具體說解的體系架構,又在內容上藉由取捨前人舊說,貫徹了「疏不破注」、依注解經,進而構建己意的解經觀念。第三章在此基礎上進一步論述,《論語正義》最終通過篇旨之構建,提出了以聖賢為導向、先修身後入政的為學路徑。而通過與皇侃《論語義疏》、朱熹《論語集注》比較,可見在對於儒家理想之為學典範的聖賢人物形象塑造中,《論語正義》於人性論及聖賢觀上雖已較之前代有所發展,亦仍具有局限性,而其背後透露出修撰者所代表的士人階級於己為學之客觀理想。 The aim of this thesis is to discuss the form and content of Lunyu Zhengyi (論語正義), an official corrected interpretations of Lunyu (論語) edited by Xing Bing (邢昺) and his committee in the early Northern Song dynasty.The existing research surrounding Lunyu Zhengyi focus on the discussions covering its exegesis and thought, which is largely influenced by the perspectives of scholars in Song and Qing Dynasties. These discussions have sometimes showed unconscious bias by their academic background, and have not fully delved into the overall interpretation of the classical texts combined with the distinct features inherited from Tang’s Zhengyi (正義). Simultaneously, there is still a need for a comprehensive investigation into the process of compilation, versions and format of Lunyu Zhengyi. Breaking through the influence of traditional ideas and evaluation of Lunyu Zhengyi, this thesis focuses on the text itself, trying to uncover the academic background and contemporary Confucian thoughts during the compilation of Lunyu Zhengyi by combing discussions on its form and content. Contributed by a systematic examination of its interpretations, it is much more objective to discuss both academic achievements and shortcomings of Lunyu Zhengyi, ultimately highlighting its position and uniqueness in the history of Commentary on Lunyu. Therefore, this thesis begins by discussing the compilation of Lunyu Zhengyi, the biography of the main compiler, Xing Bing, and the characteristics of the main versions in the first chapter. In the second chapter, by discussions on the form and the principles of citations, it becomes evident that Lunyu Zhengyi achieves refinement in the format and the structure of Yishu (義疏), an important traditional form of commentary in ancient China. The well-organized text constructs a systematic framework of interpretations from overarching summaries to specific explanations. At the same time, by selectively incorporating and discarding previous commentaries, Lunyu Zhengyi establishes its own interpretations and study on Confucian classics and thoughts. At last in order to make the arguments more convincing and specific, the third chapter further discusses how Lunyu Zhengyi shows its themes by the Summaries (篇旨) of 20 chapters of Lunyu and presents the path of studying centered around emulating the Sages and highlighting the importance of self-cultivation before political engagement. In contrast to Huang Kan’s (皇侃) Lunyu Yishu (論語義疏) and Zhu Xi’s (朱熹) Lunyu Jizhu (論語集注), though Lunyu Zhengyi has indeed progressed in its views on human nature and the concept of the Sages compared to previous commentaries, they are still incomplete and have limitations. These changing views reflect the ideal of the scholars in the early Northern Song dynasty represented by the compilers. |
