Abstract: 在本研究中,我們使用時域有限差分法 (finite-difference time-domain method, FDTD) 來模擬太陽光在變色龍皮膚中的傳播過程,而變色龍皮膚結構是由奈米等級的彩虹色素細胞所組成的光子晶體結構。變色龍在不同情緒下藉由改變彩虹色素細胞的排列來調整皮膚體表顏色,考慮晶格排列、細胞間距、光子晶體層數以及模擬解析度對於生物體表顏色的影響。最後,比較模擬結果與真實影像的差異,進一步討論準確性以及誤差。
In this research, we employ the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method to simulate the propagation of sunlight in chameleon skin, which is composed of nanoscale iridophore cells, that is photonic crystal structure. The chameleon changes color by changing the arrangement of iridophores cells under different emotions, considering the effects of lattice arrangement, cell spacing, number of photonic crystal layers, and simulation resolution on the color of the organism's surface. Finally, compare the difference between the simulation results and the real image, and further discuss the accuracy and error.
