摘要: | 花身雞魚Thornfish(Terapon jarbua, Forssk?l)為本省沿岸河口域的優勢魚種,其仔稚魚於每年4-10月間成群洄游於沿岸河口域。本研究的目的在瞭解仔魚進入沿岸區時的日齡及其停留期間的成長現象。 採樣地點為臺灣北部的金山和淡水兩地。首先在不同溫度、鹽度及飼育狀況下,以OTC化學標識法證明日輪形成的週期性,及由已知日齡的人工苗推測耳石首輪形成的時間後,再分析野生標本的耳石的微細構造,由日輪推估花身雞魚的日齡及成長。同時,分析金山核二廠溫排水所造成的畸型花身雞魚的耳石是否形成特殊記號,並推測畸型魚發生時的日齡及其生活履歷。 OTC標識實驗結果,發現餌料對魚體及耳石成長率的影響極為顯著,但日輪的形成速率則不變。首輪的形成約在孵化後3-5天。金山及淡水兩地區的花身雞魚來遊群的最小體長約10mm FL,最小的平均日齡大約是30天,亦即仔魚孵化後約經1個月後進入沿岸河口地區。花身雞魚的成長率,在金山地區大約0.506 mm/day,淡水沙崙地區約0.55 mm/day,前者的成長率明顯地小於後者(P﹤0.05)。花身雞魚的孵化日期延續時間相當長,從l月底起至9月底為止。畸型花身雞魚的耳石的外觀有許多不規則的塊狀突起,同時內部碳酸鈣結晶的排列也發生變化,並出現複核心(accessory primordium)的情形。由耳石的構造及日輪數推斷,金山核二廠出水口附近的花身雞魚,大約在孵化後35天開始變成畸型。 Otolith microstructure was analyzed to determine daily ages and growth rates of larval thornfish (Terapon jarbua) in coastal waters of Kin-shan and Tan-shui in northern Taiwan. The timings of the formation of first increment and the periodicity of increments in otoliths were validated by known-aged hatching larvae and wild larvae marked with OTC and reared at different temperature, salinity and food rations. The first increment was formed at the yolk-sac stage about3-5 days after hatching and the increments were followed on daily basis. Foods ration significantly affected the increment width but not the periodicity of the increments. The larvae arrived in the estuary about 30 days after hatching with a mean length of approximately 10mm. The growth was significantly slower for the site in the Kin-shan area (0.506 mm/day) than in the Tan-shui area (0.55 mm/day). The hatching dates backcalculated were January to September. Seventeen deformed thornfish were collected at the thermal outlet of the Kin-shan nuclear power plant II in summer 1994. The otoliths of deformed fish were irregular in shape and had accessary primordium in the new increment. The deformation occurred in fish of about 35 days old, several days after they arrived in the thermal outlet. |
