Abstract: | 本研究使用由緊湊渺子螺線圈偵測器收集之質心能量13兆電子伏特質子對撞資料,測量向量玻色子和希格斯粒子共伴產生下,希格斯粒子衰變至雙W玻色子後進一步衰變至輕子態之訊號強度。 從2016年至2018年質子對撞資料中累積光度至137逆飛靶恩的數據中,根據向量玻色子的種類和其衰變後之輕子數量,分成四個子分析後各別進行優化處理和雜訊估計,以達到最佳結果。 測量之訊號強度結果為$1.85^{+0.47}_{-0.44}$,其誤差範圍相對於粒子物理標準模型的理論預測略有差別 Measurement of signal strength of the SM Higgs boson in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy √s =13 $\TeV$ are performed. With events contain the Higgs boson associating with vector boson decays into a pair of leptonic-decay W bosons, there are four final channels, WH2l, WH3l, ZH3l, and ZH4l, to handle the two, three, and four leptons final states respectively. The analysis is based on data collected by the CMS detector at the LHC in 2016, 2017, and 2018, and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of $137.1 \fbinv$. The total Higgs boson signal strength compared to the standard model prediction is measured to $1.85^{+0.47}_{-0.44}$. |
