dc.description.abstract | In this research, molecular daisy chains were synthesized using structure rigidity, coordination geometries and bond rotational barriers to selectively form [c3] or [c4]daisy chains. Differ from the previous work, these daisy chains were synthesized through amide formation by introducing an aldehyde- or amine-group on the stopper. This approach opens a new perspective for the synthesis of even more complicated structures. | en |
