公共圖書館電子書推廣服務決策之個案研究

Abstract

本研究以公共圖書館執行電子書推廣服務為研究重點，希冀探討館方決策人員在進行電子書推廣服務時是以哪些決策準則做為主要的判斷依據。透過文獻資料的蒐集，選定國立臺中圖書館做為研究個案，並依其業務職掌是否與電子書推廣服務有關聯，選擇3位館方人員做為研究對象，進行深入訪談以及層級分析法問卷的填答。 研究結果顯示，在公共圖書館執行電子書推廣服務決策的目標構面中，所佔權重最高的構面為「讀者屬性」(W=0.348)，其次為「內容主題」(W=0.268)，接著依序分別為「電子書服務平台」(W=0.191)、「技術服務」(W=0.158)，而「組織因素」(W=0.035)則是最後才會考慮到的構面因素。而在6個目標構面下的24個評估準則之中，以「內容主題」構面下的「出版社是否願意販售」(G=0.211)為最重要的評估準則，其次則是「電子書服務平台」構面下的「提供讀者使用功能」(G=0.142)。

This study focused on eBook extension service in public library, the aims of the study was to explore the decision-making appraisal standard in eBook extension service. The processes of the study could be separated into 3 stages. The first stage was to use literature review to find the appraisal criteria, the second stage was to interview with 3 public librarians to understand the level of important of appraisal criteria and the reason. The third stage was to use analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to sort the appraisal criteria Findings of this study are about the appraisal criteria in eBook extension service, the most important appraisal criteria is property of user (W=0.348), the second is the content and theme (W=0.268), and the third factor is e-book online service , the technical services(W=0.158) is the forth factor, and the organization(W=0.035) is the last factor that the public librarians considered. Among the 24 guidelines under 6 constructs, the most important factor was the publisher which will sell the eBook of the construct of the content and theme. According to the findings of the study, it is suggested that public library may need to focus on the appraisal criteria.
