Abstract: | LTE-Advanced是現今在IMT-Advanced中很有前景的一項技術,他可以支援使用者使用100 MHz的頻寬,而載波聚合(Carrier Aggregation)是被認為用來解決頻寬分配與使用的一個解決方法,他的基本單位稱為成分載波(Component Carrier)。
在我們的研究中,我們討論在LTE-Advanced中負載不平衡的問題,我們考慮在網路中有不同性質的使用者,不同性質的使用者擁有不同的服務品質需求,對於有最低速率需求的使用者而言,負載不平衡會讓負載較重的基地台所服務的最低速率需求使用者可能達不到他的最低速率需求,對於沒有最低速率需求的使用者而言,負載不平衡會讓負載較重的基地台所服務的使用者的效能非常差,在我們的研究中,我們同時討論這兩種情形的發生以及提出方法來解決這個問題,模擬結果顯示我們的方法確實能夠大大改善我們所提出的問題。 LTE-Advanced is a promising candidate for IMT-Advanced (International Mobile Telecommunication Advanced). It should support a wider bandwidth up to 100 MHz, and carrier aggregation has been studied as a major solution. The basic aggregation unit is called component carrier (CC). In our research, we investigate load imbalance problem in LTE-Advanced network, we consider that the network serve heterogeneous UEs with different Quality of Service (QoS) requirements. Therefore, the influence of load imbalance is quite different. For those UEs with minimum rate requirements, it may cause UEs can not achieve their minimum rate requirements in heavy loaded BS, for others without minimum rate requirements, the throughput of boundary UEs may be degraded in heavy loaded BS. In our research, we take all the difference into account and formulate the problem as a multi-objective optimization problem. Then we propose our solution to solve the problem. Simulation results demonstrate that our solution can obviously improve the throughput of boundary UEs without rate requirements in heavy loaded BS. |
