| Abstract: | BGO系統主要是在SuperKEKB加速器的試運轉期間作為粒子反應的亮度監測器。在SuperKEKB加速器中,高速的電子與正子互相碰撞,產生許多Bhabha事件;而在Bhabha事件中所射出的電子和正子,由於動量守恆,在質心座標中具有「背對背」飛行的性質。BGO 系統就是利用此性質,測量在加速器中單位時間內「背對背」事件發生的次數,以計算加速器中粒子反應的亮度。另外,BGO 系統亦可量測到加速器的背景粒子,作為SuperKEKB 加速器的背景強度監測器。
我的研究包含了BGO 偵測器的機械架構設計與電腦模擬。在本論文中,我將介紹BGO 系統整體概括的原理與設計,以及根據電腦模擬對BGO 系統提出預期的效能。 BGO system mainly monitors luminosity of SuperKEKB accelerator during its commissioning. Electrons and positrons collide in SuperKEKB, and many Bhabha events occur, which have a feature of back-to-back outgoing particles. By detecting the back-to-back event rate, the luminosity of SuperKEKB can be obtained. Besides, BGO system can also function as background monitor in SuperKEKB. My study contains the mechanical design and simulation of BGO system. In this thesis, I introduce the overview design concept and give out an expected performance of BGO system. |
