Abstract: 台日戰略聯盟的關鍵成功因素
Due to bilateral sensitive issues in Sino-Japanese relations, Japanese companies seek to have partnerships or strategic alliances with Taiwanese companies in order to develop China market for higher penetration. Due to business recession, we see sense of impending crisis in Japan. The attitudes and reasons for Japanese companies, especially for small and medium enterprises have evolved from cost reduction to foreign local market exploitation and expansion. Taiwan has advantages to be Japanese business partner due to its pro-Japanese aspect, high level of flexibility in new product development, effective contract manufacture structure, and geographical advantage to have both modular-type and integral-type architecture. Through addressing conceptual models related to partnership and strategic alliance and clinical case study in ODM (Original Design Manufacture) ICT (Information and Communication Technology), key success factors for strategic alliance between Taiwanese and Japanese organizations are proposed. These include trust between top managers (enlightened mutual interest) and high degree of complementary asset.
