| Abstract: | 靈芝具有抗腫瘤、抗發炎、增強免疫力及許多生理上的療效主要是因多醣體、三萜類及小分子蛋白質等活性物質。小分子蛋白質最早是由靈芝 (Ganoderma lucidum) 的菌絲體中分離,為一個分子量 12.4 kDa 且具有免疫調節活性的物質,命名為 LZ-8,原態是以同源雙體的形式存在。後來由不同真菌菌絲體分離出與 LZ-8 序列相近的免疫調節蛋白質,通稱為 FIPs (fungal immunomodulatory proteins),GMI為本實驗室由小孢子靈芝 (Ganoderma microsporum) 菌絲體選殖之免疫調節蛋白質。LZ-8 與 GMI 目前已被證實具有抗自體免疫疾病及糖尿病等療效,經過 LZ-8 處理的人類周邊淋巴細胞會被誘導而分泌 IL-2、IL-4 及 IFN- The activity of anti-tumor, anti-inflammentary and increasing immunity of Ganoderme lucidum were resulted from its major components, polysaccharide, triterperoid and immunomodulatory protein. The first immunomodulatory protein, know as LZ-8, was isolated from the mycelium of Ganoderma lucidum. The formation of homodimer is necessary for LZ-8 to exhibit immunomodulatory activity. GMI is another immunomodulatory protein gene cloned from Ganoderma microsporum.
