Abstract: 知識管理已成為企業所面對的重要挑戰之一。然而,研究指出,目前企業所流行的集中式知識管理系統常為使用者所遺棄,這是因為一體適用的系統並無法滿足知識工作者多變的需求。
而分散式知識管理,正是以滿足自主知識工作者的工作需要為訴求,提供了企業在進行知識管理時的一個新的思考方向。一個能夠實現分散式知識管理的系統必須至少符合以下兩項原則:能夠維護知識工作者的自主性,及能夠促進知識工作者間的協調合作。
網格,以其強調安全、彈性、具協調性、且跨組織的資源分享之特性,提供了一個合適的環境來實現分散式知識管理的概念。在本研究中,我們設計、並實做了一個以網格服務為基礎的架構,以支援分散式知識管理系統。同時並在此架構上,實做了兩種知識管理的應用程式,以證明架構的技術可行性。
Knowledge Management (KM) is one of the most important challenges facing businesses. However, some studies suggest that current popular centralized KM systems are often deserted by users in that a one-size-fit-all system is not effective enough to serve diverse needs of knowledge workers.
Distributed Knowledge Management (DKM) is a new approach to KM that could deal with the needs of autonomous knowledge workers. The requirements of a system for DKM could be summarized in two principles: (i) Preserve autonomy of each knowledge worker, and (ii) Facilitate coordination between knowledge workers.
Grid, which emphasizes on coordinated, flexible, secure, and cross-organizational resource sharing, provides a qualified environment for DKM. In this thesis, we design and implement a Grid Services-based architecture for DKM systems. Two KM applications are also built upon the proposed architecture to verify the technical feasibility.
