| Abstract: | 本文旨在透過考察現代「公共」-「衛生」的連結及其轉變，企圖描繪現代社會的基本形貌。公共的健康問題，並非如今日所見那麼理所當然。這同時涉及到社會實做與觀念上的變遷。某些歷史事件匯聚了這些改變，而方有後續的變化。本文論證，現代公衛乃奠基於十九世紀中末葉之後，受到對於霍亂的持續關注與反應，一方面形成龐大的對應體系，同時並行著對於人口管理的概念轉變，方才匯聚出現有的公共衛生。 |
