| Abstract: | IEEE 802.16 標準制定的目標是在提供都會區寬頻網路服務,並且被視為是下一代的網路技術。在下一代的網路中,語音封包網路電話(VoIP)被視為是一項最熱門的應用。而IEEE 802.16j是IEEE 802.16的一個附加標準,它利用中繼站(relay station)加強了訊號品質及網路傳輸速度。
在IEEE 802.16標準中,詳細的排程(scheduling)設計並沒有被規範,而是留給系統提供者去設計。本篇論文提出了一個排程設計,利用通道品質的變化,以及公平分配,使IEEE 802.16j無線多躍網路下的使用者,能夠得到良好的網路電話通話品質。 IEEE 802.16 is the standard for broadband wireless communication in metropolitan area networks and is regarded as the technology of the next generation. In the next generation network, VoIP providing packet based telephony service is considered as one of the most popular applications. IEEE 802.16j is an amendment to the IEEE 802.16 standard. It enables RS (Relay Station) to enhance system performance. The detail of scheduling algorithm is left outside of the IEEE 802.16 standard. This thesis proposes a suitable scheduling algorithm for VoIP in the IEEE 802.16j relay network. The proposed opportunistic scheduling algorithm provides fair resource allocation and good voice quality for users. A series of simulation experiments are conducted to investigate the performance of our scheduling algorithm. |
