Abstract

台劇產業長期積弱不振，探究其發展脈絡，今日產業面貌實則由執政者、電視台業者、製作公司等利益關係人相互作用而形成。本深度報導以傳播政治經濟學的視野分析台劇產業，從結構面探究不同利益關係人的權力互動和資源分配情形。文章架構方面，本報導以製作台劇的內容生產者為主，敘述外在政治經濟結構如何限制他們的發展機會，以及他們在製作台劇過程中面臨到的資金、平台、內容，和人才困境，同時呈現他們試圖走出困境的方法。本文希望讓更多人了解台劇產業的現況和發展路徑，供關心台灣戲劇產業的相關人士參考。

Taiwan’s drama industry has long been under-developed. The industry is formed by the interaction between the political powers, the TV operators and the production company. This in-depth report explores the drama industry in the light of political economy of communication, and demonstrates the power interaction and resource allocation of different stakeholders from the structural plane.This report focuses on the producers of the dramas, describes how the external political and economic structure limits their opportunities, and present how they tried to get out of the present predicament.This report by covering the status of the Taiwan’s drama industry and providing solutions, hopefully can contributes to the present discussion concerning how to boost Taiwan’s drama industry.
