Abstract: 現在區塊鏈的應用越來越多,但效能一直是區塊鏈的一大挑戰。所以本篇論文實作了多層式區塊鏈系統來解決效能的問題,多層式區塊鏈的主鏈繼承了傳統區塊鏈去中心化以及安全的特性,而多層式區塊鏈的側鏈則使用現有的聯盟鏈,有效的解決了效能上的問題。我們也發現了多層式區塊鏈中的側鏈(聯盟鏈)的共識機制是系統瓶頸,而Blockchain Explorer能幫我們選出最合適的聯盟鏈。如今市面上的聯盟鏈五花八門,Blockchain Explorer 能幫我們達到兩個目標。第一是提供一個公平合理的實驗環境讓不同的聯盟鏈與共識演算法做比較。第二是使用者可以依實驗數據來挑選出適合他們的區塊鏈系統。
Both the number of blockchains and the discovered number of applications of blockchain are ever increasing, and yet performance remains among the biggest of challenges. This thesis is focused on implementing a multi-layer blockchain system to combat the performance issue. Multi-layer blockchains are composed of a main chain that inherits a blockchain's properties of decentralization and security and a side chain that uses a permissioned blockchain to solve performance deficits. We also found that the side chain (permissioned chain) in the multi-layer blockchain is the bottleneck in the entire system, and Blockchain Explorer can help us choose the most suitable permissioned blockchain. Our proposed Blockchain Explorer has two goals: first to assist the user in designing a side-by-side experiment system for balanced comparison among different permissioned blockchains and consensus algorithms and second to allow for the user to choose based on experiment results the most suitable blockchain for their application scenario.
