摘要: | 有鑒於近年全球半導體產業併購風潮興起、大陸政策性扶植國內半導體產業發展,以及半導體晶片設計產業生態的丕變,為台灣現有積體電路晶片設計產業發展帶來了空前巨大的影響;而這三大面向對產業的影響,也為企業造成了許多困難與挑戰,本論文即探討台灣半導體晶片設計業者如何思考並提出轉型策略,以克服困境迎向未來挑戰。
首先從定義目標『半導體積體電路晶片設計公司之轉型策略』開始,根據相關文獻提出本論文的策略研究流程,並以個案研究法做為基礎研究方法、精選產業中個案公司為例,著手進行企業內部核心能力及價值鏈分析,從內部環境中釐定企業的優點跟缺點;同時,進行企業外部大環境PEST及五力分析,從外部環境中確認企業的機會與威脅;進而以三大基本競爭戰略為企業定位,並透過SWOT分析彙整組織內部的優缺點與外部的機會跟威脅,以提出個案公司因應產業挑戰之轉型發展策略。 最後,本研究進一步針對所提的轉型策略,對應當前台灣晶片設計公司所面對的困境與挑戰,逐一檢核策略執行的克服能力與影響綜效,並探討策略的執行,以證實所提的策略建議是可行且有效的。 In view of the rise of mergers and acquisitions in the global semiconductor industry in recent years, the purposed policy of China to foster the growth of the local semiconductor industry and the changes in the ecosystem of IC design industries have had a tremendous impact on the existing IC design industry in Taiwan. And these impacts on the industry have also caused many difficulties and challenges for the enterprises. This thesis explores how Taiwanese IC designers can come up with strategies for transition and overcome their difficulties in the future. First of all, taking 'the transition strategy of semiconductor chip design company' as the strategic target, this paper proposes the strategy research process based on the relevant literature, and uses the Case Study as the basic research method. In the case of selected individual companies in the industry, we proceed with the analysis of the Core Competence and Value Chain of the enterprise, and determine the advantages and disadvantages from the internal environment of the company. At the same time, conduct PEST and Five Forces Analysis to confirm the opportunities and threats in external environment. Furthermore, the three Basic Competitive Strategies are analyzed for the enterprises' positioning. SWOT Analysis is used to analyze the internal advantages and disadvantages of the organization and external opportunities and threats, so as to propose a transition strategy for case company in response to the industrial challenges. Finally, this study further aims at the Transformation Strategy proposed, corresponding to the current dilemmas and challenges facing Taiwanese chip design companies, and examines the ability and impact of strategy implementation one by one. Then discuss the implementation of the strategy in order to make sure of the proposed strategic advice is feasible and effective. |
