醫院之社區居家服務經營策略與模式分析 — 以萬芳醫院為例

Abstract

台灣人口急遽老化，2018年將達到14%成為高齡社會，2025年更達到20%成為超高齡社會，老化的結果是失智失能人口也急速上升；另外少子化及家庭人口減少，使照顧者的人力也相對不足；長照已成為台灣社會迫在眉睫的國安問題，但同時也是另一個產業興起的關鍵時刻；本研究藉由萬芳醫院所承接，台北市社會局石頭湯社區整合照護計畫，探討醫院進行社區居家服務，其經營策略與模式分析，希望能彌補醫療及長照的斷裂，並在長照這個重要問題上，嘗試提出可能的解決方法。

Taiwan's population is rapidly getting aged. It will reach 14% by 2018 as an aged society and 20% by 2025 as a hyper-aged society. As a result of the aging population, the number of dementia and disabled people will also rapidly increase. In addition, the declining birthrate and family size will decrease caregiver manpower as well. As a matter of fact, long-term care has become an urgent national security issue in Taiwan society, but it could also be a chance of the rise of a whole new industry. In this study, Wan Fang Hospital undertook the project of integrated community care so called the “Stone Soup Program” from the Taipei City Social Council. The hospital team conducts community and home services and analyzes its business strategy and model, hoping to make up for the medical and long-term breakage. At the important issue of long-term care, the hospital attempts to propose possible solutions.
