Abstract: This business plan describes a wearable smart hardware device and software-as-a-service (SaaS) contact sharing and management product business dedicated to increasing the efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness, and intuitiveness of the information exchange and customer relationship management process. The plan projects a potential to transform this business into an intelligent, dynamic web and mobile service for the entire lifecycle of natural contact sharing and lead optimization between senders and recipients.
Networking at tradeshows and conferences is cumbersome, and managing the business cards of the people you meet is a tedious job. The process is very ineffective and can be a large inconvenience. Contact information has to be manually imported into existing CRM databases, and the authenticity of each individual can be lost during the process. Usually exhibitors must scan each attendee coming into their booth, which can be very awkward and lead to inaccurate post-show data analysis. A company’s performance and brand impact are not accurately represented at the end of each day or at the end of a tradeshow, and this slows the lead sales and marketing process. Meeting new leads and business partners can become very static, with the results not being elevated to their true potential in a timely fashion. There are several networking platforms and ways to exchange contact information, but the process is not unified or streamlined. Due to this, less contact information is exchanged daily, valuable relationships are not formed, and the uniqueness of each new connection may fade away.
