Abstract: | 近年來PC以及筆記型電腦的市場轉趨成熟,加上代工廠全球運籌管理的產銷模式從預測後生產模式(Build to Forecast,BTF),轉變為接單後生產(Build to Order,BTO)、客製化生產(Configuration to Order,CTO),此一模式導致代工廠成本升高。
雖然台灣委外代工NB出貨量全球佔仍高達80%,然而由於產品生命週期縮短、技術不斷創新變革、國際品牌廠訂單分散策略等原因,代工廠為了能在產業中持續生存,多偏向擴大硬體生產設備投資的方式,藉著大量標準化生產與規模經濟壓低成本爭取更多訂單,此舉也降低了各代工廠的利潤。 為了因應此變化,本研究期望透過W公司的多工輪播下載技術系統做為分析案例,探討該企業跨入利基市場面臨之競爭與商業模式。分析結果顯示對於筆記型電腦代工廠採取授權費及維護合約之收費模式,對於筆記型電腦品牌廠商及售後服務市場採用預載以及套裝軟體銷售模式,可提高其生產效率並降低其生產成本。 The Business Model Analysis of Multicast Preload System The product life cycle of PC and notebook is already at mature stage, while the logistic management model transit from Build to Forecast (BTF) model to Build to Order (BTO) model or Configuration to Order (CTO) model, which leads the increasing in manaufacturing cost. Though these Taiwanese OEM vendors have 80% world wide market share in notebook market, however, production over the world, with the reason of short life cycle, new technology innovation and obtain the order from different brand name companies, they have to survive in the reality by increasing the investment on manufacturing equipment to lower the cost to earn the orders, which reduces the net profit to each vendor. This study used one of the famous laptop OEM vendors, W company, for analyzing the business model of multicast preload system, how this OEM vendor cross into this niche market and how to face the competition. The results shows that revenue from OEM vendor should be license fee and maintenance contract; revenue from brand PC/ NB companies should be preload contract and package software and services. This business model could improve the production efficiency and reduce production cost. |
