摘要: | 隨著行動裝置使用率的提升和無線網路技術的快速發展,多種無線網路服務已部署於世界各地。然而,在台灣的台北市,雖然政府提供許多免費使用的Wi-Fi熱點,但是無線網路的涵蓋範圍卻是有限的,移動到涵蓋範圍間的區域將會造成網路斷線的情況發生,這對於需要高穩定性傳輸的醫療服務是個重大的挑戰。在本篇論文中,我們設計了一個行動感知無線電之中介軟體,用以改善上述所提的網路連線問題,感知無線電能夠感知周遭的環境並且將頻譜使用率最佳化,因此中介軟體負責整合現有的無線通訊系統,在異質網路下提供無接縫通訊的服務,保持無線網路連線的連續性並且避免在網路切換過程中遺失網路封包。最後我們移植行動感知無線電之中介軟體至嵌入式系統中,能夠在不更改現有的系統架構下,相容於現實的網路環境中。 With the increasing use of hand-held devices and the rapid development of wireless network technology, many kinds of radio access technologies have been deployed around the world. However, in Taipei City, Taiwan, although we have many free Wi-Fi hotspots to use, the coverage of wireless network is limited such that wireless network connection has sometimes dropped when moving between the coverage gaps. It is crucial for medical services which require high-performance connectivity to maintain a stable communication. In this Thesis, we designed a mobile middleware for cognitive radio to improve the wireless communication link. Cognitive radios have the ability to sense their operating environment and optimize the spectrum usage, so the mobile middleware is responsible for integrating the existing wireless communication systems with a seamless communication service in the heterogeneous network environments. Therefore, it is important to develop a mechanism to keep the wireless connection continuous and avoid packets loss during network switch. Moreover, we ported the proposed seamless mobile communication middleware into an embedded system, which is compatible with the actual network environment without the need of changing the original system architecture. |
