『空華集』中的中國詩文受容—「夢」的表現

Abstract

「一切有為法、如夢幻泡影。 如露亦如電、應作如是觀。」これは『金剛経』における「六如」である。中世禅林に入ると、世の諸現象が夢の如しという概念は如何に臨済禅徒の精神思想に影響を与えるか、禅僧の文学作品に影が見える。五山文学の双璧の一人としての義堂周信（1325―1388）の私家集『空華集』において、「夢」を言及した作品が稀ではない。官界に浮かべ、中世の門派闘争を経験し、また病気を苦しんだ義堂が、夢を見ることを通じて苦痛から離れ、離別された友だちに逢えることは『空華集』の作品によく見える。創作する際に「夢」の表現で執着しない考えも表したのである。それにもかかわらず、『空華集』における「夢」を中心にした著作が稀である。 本論では、『空華集』における「夢」に関する詩文を中心に、義堂周信が創作する際に、中国文学を取り上げたポイント及び彼の受容態度を検討する。論を展開する方向について、まず義堂の「夢」に対する理解を分析してから、文学表現と受容態度を論じる。

Since Gidoshushi is considered to have rich knowledge of Chinese poetries and books such as “Lunyu” and “Zhuangzi”, researchers of Gido’s poems collection, “Kugeshu”, mostly focus on the realization of the Chinese literature. However, looking back to the poems in “Kugeshu”, we can find that there is a large collection of poems written about dream or slumber. As a monk of Rinzai Sect, it is not difficult to associate these works with the Roku in “Diamond Sutra”, which said that “All conditioned phenomena are like a dream, an illusion, a bubble, a shadow, like dew or a flash of lightning. Thus we shall perceive them.” The explanation of dreams was also written by Gido’s teacher Musososeki in “Muchumondo”. With the abovementioned in mind, we can see how the monk of Gozan values the concept of “dream”. The current study aims to investigate how the concept of “dream” is used in the poem of “Dream” in “Kugeshu,” and how it is realized based on his understanding of the Chinese literature.
