The goal of this study is to understand the effects of a professional social network sites users’ skills endorsements and connections on the other-ratings of users’ ability and personal traits (including users’ interpersonal skill, conscientiousness and specific technical skills). Secondly, talents seekers should be cautious when they are examining the profiles of job candidates to avoid potential biases and should collect information from different sources for a better decision. |
