都市原住民男同志主體性再建構的自我敘事

Abstract

本研究以自我敘事為研究方法，探究研究者身為都市原住民男同志身分的意涵，以順時序的方式探索研究者成為原住民（being and becoming）以及男同志的身分認同歷程，並以批判性思考與反身性的實踐，省思都市原住民、原住民同志的當代意義與處境，進而探究都市原住民男同志的主體性意義。 本文不僅是說明都市原住民男同志在主流社會與原住民族社會中，因為長期的不理解、誤解導致的邊緣處境，更是提出「好好生活，對未來有期待」為抵殖民（decolonial）的日常實踐精神，以自身生命歷程嘗試說明：當代的歷史創傷傳遞、反思都市原住民意涵、以交織性捕捉自身為多重少數的日常生活處境，也就是本文透過經驗的再詮釋，說明都市原住民男同志是在殖民社會或後殖民情境中持續抵抗的重要存在。 本文不僅是研究者藉由主體性的再建構歷程創造研究者視框的突破，強調批判性思考、反身性的重要性；同時，指出自我敘事是原住民族研究方法論中，重要的抵殖民實踐工具；此外，研究者呼籲社會工作教育應反思「本土化社會工作」論述，原住民族知識的位置、建議社會工作教育應以抵殖民作為原住民族社會工作的認識基礎、營造不吝嗇於探討族群與性別的系所空間，以此發展能自在安全討論認識多重少數、認識原住民族的受殖民處境之意義。

This self-narrative study explores subjectivity reconstruction through the identity of urban Indigenous gay man. It examines the researcher's life course of both being and becoming an Indigenous person and a gay man in chronological order. Through critical thinking and reflexive practice, it reflects on the meaning of being urban Indigenous person and Indigenous gay man in the contemporary context. Furthermore, it delves into the subjectivity of urban Indigenous gay man. The study not only reveals the marginalized status of urban Indigenous gay man in both mainstream society and Indigenous communities due to long-standing misunderstandings and misconceptions but also advocates for a decolonial daily practice: "Live here and now in a better way, then there is hope in the future". Drawing from the researcher’s experiences, it discusses Historical Trauma, rethinks the meaning of being urban Indigenous people, and captures daily life as a multiple minority through an intersectional lens. Finally, this study demonstrates the ongoing resistance of urban Indigenous LGBTQ+ individuals in colonial or post-colonial contexts. This study not only creates breakthroughs in the researcher's perspective through the subjective process of reconstruction but also emphasizes the importance of critical thinking and reflexive practice. It also highlights self-narrative as a crucial decolonial tool in Indigenous research methodology. Furthermore, the researcher calls for reconsideration of the discourse on localized social work from indigenous perspectives, advocating for the integration of decolonial perspectives in indigenous social work and the creation of inclusive spaces for exploring issues of ethnicity/race and gender/sex. These efforts aim to foster safe and meaningful discussions about understanding the experiences of multiple minorities and the significance of recognizing the colonial context of Indigenous peoples.
