摘要: 生技製藥業屬於高風險、高回饋的產業,無論是生產製造藥品、研發生技產品、甚至是CDMO,都進入了全球化、?位化的時代,產品、技術生命週期也跟著縮短,當臺灣市場的需求逐漸達到飽和,資源的取得日益困難時,企業為了追求成長而前進海外市場、進?全球布局已蔚為趨勢。本研究針對個案集團進行實證研究,利用該集團的過去經驗及現正經歷的全球化過程驗證各項命題,得到以下結論,並期待以此作為未來企業於海外布局之策略參考,幫助臺灣生技製藥業者在成為國際上該領域之要角的過程中,能更加順遂。 1. 利用ADDING價值計分分析臺灣本土具有技術面競爭優勢且現金流穩定的研發型生技製藥廠,顯示全球化對於此類企業追求成長是有助益的。 2. 企業在全球化過程中,需要透過AAA三角形,為企業可能追求的策略目標建立全方位的認識,再根據全球化程度的提升,在AAA策略中做取捨,找出企業跨國發展的競爭優勢來源。 3. 臺灣的生技製藥業進入海外市場時,可根據CAGE距離的差異性決定對海外據點的涉入程度,而臺灣總部則必須盡好監督的責任。 4. 企業全球化成功關鍵因素在於內部管理,除了組織設計上應設置獨立的國際事業部門,專人專責負責全球化業務外,任用具備多元技能的合格海外經理人也是影響企業全球化成敗的重要因素。
The biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry is a high-risk and high-reward business. Whether it is manufacturing drugs, researching and developing biotechnology products, or even CDMO, it has entered the era of globalization and digitization, and the life cycle of products and technologies has also shortened. When the demand of a domestic market gradually reaches saturation and the acquisition of resources in the home country becomes increasingly difficult, it has become a trend for enterprises to enter the overseas markets for transnational operations and global layout to pursue growth. This research conducts an empirical study on the case group, uses the case group's experience and the current globalization process to verify various propositions, and draws the following conclusions, which are expected to be used as a strategic reference for the overseas layout of enterprises in the future. It could help Taiwan biotech and pharmaceutical industry become more successful in the process of becoming a key player in the R&D and manufacturing in the international market. 1. Using the ADDING value score to analyze the R&D biotech pharmaceutical factories in Taiwan with technical competitive advantages and stable cash flow, showing that globalization is helpful for such enterprises to pursue growth. 2. In the process of globalization, enterprises need to establish a comprehensive understanding of the strategic goals that the enterprise may pursue through the AAA triangle, and then make trade-offs in the AAA strategy according to the improvement of the degree of globalization. Also, find out the competition of the enterprise's multinational development and competitive advantage. 3. When Taiwan's biotech pharmaceutical factories enter overseas markets, they can decide the degree of involvement in overseas bases according to the difference in CAGE distance, while the headquarters in Taiwan must fulfill the responsibility of supervision. 4. The key factor for the success of a company's globalization lies in internal management. In addition to setting up an independent international business department in the organizational design, with a dedicated person in charge of the globalization business, the appointment of qualified overseas managers with diverse skills is also an important factor affecting the success or failure of a company's globalization.
