摘要: 隨著台灣社會的進步與開放,台灣同志婚姻平權運動在今年(2017)年獲得了一次大勝利,但是伴隨而來的是反同團體更嚴峻的對立,尤其在同志教育部分受到的打壓最為嚴重。自2011年「真愛聯盟連署事件」開始,到現在反同團體繼續對從事同志教育的教師們展開人身攻擊,甚至希望同志教育全面退出校園,無疑是對台灣同志教育發展的一大打擊。
然而,在這風風雨雨中,仍有許多人為了創造友善同志的校園,努力推動同志教育,其中以台灣同志諮詢熱線的「同志入班教學」最有規模。為了瞭解同志義工入班「說故事」所產生的力量,對台灣同志教育與同志平權運動發展的影響力,本報導特別以同志諮詢熱線的「同志入班教學」活動做為報導主軸,了解同志義工如何與第一線教師合作,創造與國、高中學生面對面分享生命經驗的教育現場,讓學生認識「活生生」的同志,「認識同志」不再是紙上談兵,而是一種性別意識轉化的歷程。
除了教室內的短期效果之外,本報導也探討「同志說故事的力量」對台灣同志平權發展中、長期的影響,並探討反同家長們真正的恐懼為何?以及在台灣教育體制不健全所衍生出性別平等教育「外包」的現象,是否是同志教育的萬靈丹?
最後,本報導針對以上諸多問題,根據長期推動同志教育的同志義工、基層教師,以及力挺同志教育的家長所提出的建議,整理出未來同志教育開展之方向,讓「同志說故事的力量」能夠繼續發揮影響力,直到成功走向彩虹橋的彼端。
With the progress and liberalization in Taiwan society, the Tongzhi marriage equality movement in this year (2017) won a big victory. However, the movement has been harshly opposed by the anti-Tongzhi groups, especially in the area of Tongzhi education. Since 'True Love Alliance incident' starting at 2011, the anti-Tongzhi groups continuously have made abusive remarks on teachers who have been dedicated in Tongzhi education, which would undoubtedly undermine the foundation in the development of Taiwan Tongzhi education.
Nevertheless, there have still been many people putting their efforts on promoting Tongzhi education in order to create a Tongzhi -friendly campus. One of the most important example is the 'Tongzhi Education in Classrooms' established by Taiwan Tongzhi Hotline Association '. The main project of them is to offer 'storytelling' in the classrooms by Tongzhi volunteer. This in-depth report is proposed to understand how the project works with front-line teachers . Through sharing with their life experiences, with the junior and senior high school students can meet Tongzhis in real life, which is no longer the discussion on paper, and would help with the conversion of gender awareness.
Except for the short-term effects in the classroom, this report also explores the 'long-term influence by“the power of storytelling” on the development of Taiwan Tongzhi's equal rights. Furthermore, the in-depth coverage explores the real fearfulness of parents who have been against Tongzhi education. The phenomenon of 'outsourcing' gender equal education has been also analyzed, including both its strengths and weaknesses.
Finally, this report discusses about how to improve Tongzhi education in the future according to the above questions and the suggestions offered by Tongzhi Volunteers, front-line teachers and the parents who support Tongzhi education for a long time. Let 'the power of storytelling' plays its part continually till across of the Rainbow bridge.
