Abstract: | 紫質敏化染料分子(porphyrin-based dye)具有很強的莫耳吸光係數(molar absorption coefficients),對染料敏化太陽能電池(Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells,DSSCs)元件之光電流有很大助益。然而紫質染料在浸泡吸附過程中,可能出現分子聚集(aggregation)現象,因而降低元件表現。因此其製程中,必須採取適當之浸泡吸附方法。
本研究採用吸收光譜涵蓋近紅外(near-IR)波段之紫質敏化染料(LWP系列),著重研究浸泡染料�清洗之吸附程序,以改善分子聚集現象、優化元件表現,並比較LWP系列各染料元件之效率。另一方面,以不同紫質染料分子作共敏化吸附(co-sensitized),進一步增進元件表現。輔以阻抗特性之探討,確認不同浸泡吸附程序之優化效果。 Due to their large molar absorption coefficients, porphyrin-based dyes provide great improvement to the photocurrents of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSCs). However, dye aggregation might lower the performance of devices. Therefore, suitable dye soaking conditions are essential. In this study, a series of porphyrin-based dyes (LWP series) with absorption spectra covering near-IR regions were used in the fabrication of DSSCs. Different dye soaking/washing processes were adopted to lessen dye aggregation and thus to optimize performance of devices. The device performances of DSSCs using porphyrin dyes were further enhanced with co-sensitization. All devices were also characterized by impedance spectroscopy to study effects of dye soaking processes. |
