馬來西亞檳城閩南語音韻研究

Abstract

本文以《馬來西亞檳城閩南語音韻研究》為題，探討檳城閩南語的音韻表現。本文主要從檳城閩南語的橫切面切入，從共時的面向作分析與討論。以下列出本文的章節安排，並說明每一章所討論的核心問題。 第一章 序論 本章介紹馬來西亞檳城地區的地理、歷史、人文與語言環境、檳城閩南語相關文獻回顧，並說明本文研究的目的、方法及語料來源。 第二章 檳城閩南語音韻系統 本章首先分別從聲母、韻母、聲調三方面的描述，建立分析檳城閩南語共時的音韻系統，並分析其音節結構與限制。此外，本章也討論聲母、韻母的連讀變化現象以及聲調的連讀變調規律。 第三章 檳城閩南語與其他閩南方言語音比較 本章以中古韻攝作為架構，將三部重要的閩南韻書及漳州、廈門、泉州、潮州四地語音與檳城閩南語做比較，分別從聲調、聲母、韻母三方面展現閩南語內部差異及檳城閩南語的特殊性。 第四章 檳城閩南語中馬來語借詞的語音現象與語碼轉換 本章分析檳城閩南語在多語接觸的環境下產生的與中國閩南地區不同的語言現象，分析外來語借詞、底層干擾及語碼轉換等語言現象在檳城閩南語中錯綜複雜的表現。本章重點關注馬來語借詞在進入檳城閩南語詞彙系統時的聲調表現，並由此得證聲調置入為判斷馬來語詞彙是否已經進入閩南語詞彙系統的重要依據。根據上述依據，我們再進一步分析檳城閩南語借入馬來語借詞時的音韻調整現象。 第五章 結論 本章根據本文的研究成果，總結檳城閩南語的音韻特點，同時提出在本文基礎上可以展開的相關後續研究。

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the phonology of the Southern-Min dialect in Penang. Firstly, this study depicts the representation of three aspects, namely consonants, vowels, and tones, to establish the analysis of the synchronic phonological system of the Southern-Min dialect in Penang. Besides, syllable structure and its limitations are analyzed; the sound change phenomenon of consonants and vowels as well as the tone sandhi rules are discussed. In this study, the rhyme group in the Middle Ages is taken as the framework to compare three major Southern-Min rhyming dictionaries, pronunciations in Zhangzhou, Xiamen, Quanzhou, and Chaozhou, and the Southern-Min dialect in Penang, showing internal differences of the Southern-Min dialect from three dimensions-tones, consonants, and vowels respectively, as well as the particularity of the Min-Nan dialect in Penang. The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the different linguistic phenomenon from the southern region of China produced by the multilingual contact environment of the Southern-Min dialect in Penang. We analyze the complex performance of loanwords, language substratum, code switching, and other linguistic phenomena in the Southern-Min dialect in Penang. This chapter also focuses on tone performances of Malay loanwords in entering the Penang Southern-Min dialect vocabulary system, thus proving the tone placement is an important basis determining whether the Malay vocabulary enters the Southern-Min dialect vocabulary system. Based on the above basis, we further analyze the phonological adjustment phenomenon when Malay loanwords are loaned by the Southern-Min dialect in Penang.
