當代台灣小說中的癡呆少女與瘋狂女人書寫

Abstract

藉由探討賴香吟、胡淑雯、林奕含、黃麗群、邱常婷與張亦絢六位臺灣當代女性小說家之作品，本論文試圖找尋被賦予精神疾患徵候的女性角色於文學裡再現的形貌。並進一步區辨出，「癡呆少女」（Idiot Girls）和「瘋狂女人」（Crazy Women）兩組於生理年齡和精神疾患擁有毗鄰性，文學中的「瘋女人」（Mad women）如何被言說與詞彙的延伸義所圍繞，形構出二種精神疾患看似靜／動的論述。 本論文借用酷兒時間性（Queer Temporality）作為審視小說角色生命時間線的方法，運用酷兒時間的「反生物性時間」論述，得以窺見少女與女人被社會所框定的面貌，並藉由「癡呆少女」與「瘋狂女人」質問與裂解現存的父權框架。 在層層拆解這些圍繞著精神疾患與女性的論述層後，本文提出「能動的感覺結構」一詞，解析社會基於哪些基礎邏輯使社會仿若不經意地將動態置於靜態至上，將生殖、邁向幸福置於拒絕生殖，靜止凝滯的狀態上。

This paper explores the works of six contemporary Taiwanese female novelists—Lai Hsiang-yin, Hu Shu-wen, Lin Yi-han, Huang Li-chun, Chiu Chang-ting, and Chang Yi-hsuan—in an attempt to identify the manifestations of female characters imbued with symptoms of mental illness in literature. It further distinguishes between two groups: "Idiot Girls" and "Crazy Women," examining how literary "Mad Women" are surrounded by extensions of meaning and vocabulary, shaping seemingly static and dynamic discourses of mental illness. This paper employs Queer Temporality as a method to examine the life timelines of novel characters. Through the discourse of Queer Temporality’s "anti-biological time," it provides insight into the societal framing of girls and women. By engaging with "Idiot Girls" and "Crazy Women," it questions and deconstructs the existing patriarchal frameworks. After deconstructing the layers of discourse surrounding mental illness and women, this paper introduces the term "Active Structure of Feelings" to analyze the foundational logic by which society seemingly unintentionally prioritizes the static over the dynamic, and places reproduction and the pursuit of happiness above rejection of reproduction and static stasis.
